WHY WE RUN

Everyone faces their own pains, but we don’t have to go through it alone.

Suicide is a taboo subject in society that many often refrain from talking about and yet, it is the leading cause of death for those aged 10-29.

We are trying to draw attention to these issues by supporting Samaritans of Singapore (SOS). SOS provides confidential emotional support for those facing a crisis, thinking about or affected by suicide. With this fundraising campaign, we hope to contribute to a better future.

As part of our fundraiser for SOS, we will participate in what is called The SpeedProject (#TSPDIY). TSP DIY is a global, decentralized event from The Speed Project. Starting at 7 PM Singapore Time on September 5, 2020. We will run, relay-style, as many kilometers as we can in 31 hours and 15 minutes (the standing TSP record).

LAST will be sharing live updates of the race thru our social media, so follow us here for stories and switch on your notifications to catch some thrills and spills. Drop some virtual shouts on race day!

Runners in this relay run are: Jonathan Chan, Cheah Wei Wen, Joel Seah, Mun Kong Seow, Cory Lehman, and Michael Lints.

Our target is to run 360km, or 60km per runner over 31hrs 15mins! Push us to run a bit more by pledging your support.

You can support us with 10cents, 20cents or 50 cents per km which amounts to $36, $72 and $180 respectively. We deeply appreciate any amount, really.

Please join us in our fundraiser and cheer us on. Donations can be made here: https://www.giving.sg/campaigns/lastrunning
